They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share -1 Timothy 6:18
Each year in November, we want to practice what we read in 1 Timothy 6:18 to be rich in good deeds and generous with the resources we have. We do this by supporting ministry partners.
Tree of Life Pregnancy Support Center has three locations on the central coast, each of which offer women facing pregnancy decisions compassion, hope, positive options, and practical help. Their goal is to provide resources to help a woman choose life for her baby and give support in her decision to either parent or place for adoption. They also offer support for those struggling the mental and emotional effects of a previous abortion.
Street Vision Ministries is a ministry to homeless individuals in the North County. They meet twice a week to hand out coffee and breakfast burritos and lead Discovery Bible Studies in the park. They provide support for any individuals who are ready for rehab, talking them through the process and driving them to the facility, if needed.
Impact Boxing Outreach is a ministry that provides free boxing lessons for kids (and adults) of all ages. They meet twice a week right here at Life Community Church. Not only do kids get to learn a skilled sport, practice self-defense, and get a great workout, but they also focus on a virtue each month and share the gospel with all who attend.
Life Community Church is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, otherwise known as the CMA or The Alliance. The Alliance is an evangelical denomination full of believers who long to introduce the love of God to all nations. The two hurricanes that devastated the east coast left much destruction in their wakes. The CMA churches in and near the areas affected by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton are working to help their communities get back on their feet and recover as quickly as possible.
