The Prodigal God (VBS Sunday)

The parables of Jesus offer a telling and insightful look at the human condition and the divine solution God offers to us. In the parable of the lost son, Jesus helps us to understand where we go wrong in our longing for freedom without consequences, as well as our defaults to try earning love through effort. What Jesus shows us is that true freedom and rewards are found in the Father's embrace.
