Romans 15:7 tells us to "welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God." Christ is our example for how we should live and relate to one another. We are not to be self-serving or tribal. To the contrary, we are to welcome and serve one another across all man-made cultural barriers...for the glory of God.
