The first people to hear about Jesus’ birth weren’t kings or priests but night-shift shepherds. Why them? Because God’s Light shines brightest in humble places. The angel says, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy for all people.” Jesus is the Light for all people. For the unnoticed. For the busy. For the broken. For you.
